The Grand-daddy of the UK VW scene is back with a book about how to improve your VW Beetle (or New Beetle, or Newbie, or NB, or VW Concept).

The Layout is simple with each compentent of the car being given a chapter. It has some great pictures from teh original concepts to present day. Importantly it also has details of the different engines available at the time, but also body kits and exhaust options.

This would be a good book for someone not technically minded as they will be able to see the options and help judge what upgrades they would like to add to their New Beetle.

So if you are looking to upgrade the engine, modify the suspension or are just looking for ideas on what kits or add-ons you can add then this is the book for you.

It is not only about performance, it also gives a history of how the concept became reality and paved the way for other manufacturers to re-release the popular cars from the past.

If you know a New Beetle owner then this would be a great Birthday/Christmas book for them.
