G.T.I SAY IT ALL
Review date: 2009-08-28 Rating: 8 out of 10
After buying the VW 1st 60 years of transports, I decide on buying the VW Golf. for two good reasons 1st The writer Richard Cropper who seam to know his VW pretty well, and second The golf GTI which was the fastest hot hatch of it year.
The book start of with the mk1 Golf, the start of all. Born in the late 70is built in a 2/5 door hatch a convertible and a hot hatch, right down to the latest golf mk5, Also the Beetle PASSAT and other car are show.
Golf mk1 launch a 2 door 5 door hatch a convertible and the hot hatch GTI.
Golf mk2 launch a van base on the hatch and a pick-up call the rabbit, and a boot base on the hatch named The JETTA.
Golf mk3 launch a estate version of the hatch and a boot based called vento The R32 was launched.
Golf mk4 launched the boot based Bora and the new beetle
Golf mk5/6 brought back the Jetta
My only bad point is that there more text and less picture
If ur a VW Golf fan a must buy.

VW Golf : Five Generations of FunReview date: 2009-02-13 Rating: 10 out of 10Very good book covering the history of the Golf from MK1 to MK5 with excellent colour photography. I dont think any golf variations have been left out making a very useful reference book for any VW enthusiasts.
